In “Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad” Province, due to the appropriate rainfall and mountainous terrain, there are many waterfalls, most of which are unknown. One of these beautiful waterfalls is a waterfall called Kamrdogh, which is located in the north of the province, at a distance of about 70 km from Dehdasht and 20 km from Qaleh Raisi.
Kamrdogh waterfall is one of the largest and widest waterfalls in Iran, which with its beautiful scenery can be introduced as one of the important tourist destinations in “Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad” province.
Access to Kamardogh waterfall is a bit difficult due to its location in the mountainous areas of the Zagros and requires crossing mountainous and winding roads.
Kamardogh waterfall is located in the middle of a deep gorge. The water of the waterfall passes through the village of Kamrdogh and after flowing in a large area, it flows down from the top of the valley to the bottom, thus creating the Kamardogh waterfall.
It is not possible to visit the waterfall through Kamardogh village and from the top of the waterfall, and to see the waterfall, one must enter the valley. This is not a long route, but it is not suitable for everyone due to the steep slopes. The end of this path leads to the bottom of the valley and close to the waterfall, and from there you can see a beautiful and unique view of this waterfall. Shortly before the village of Kamardogh, a road can be reached to the bottom of the waterfall, which is a relatively easier route.
There are no amenities in the village of Kamrdogh and around the waterfall, and it is better to have all the necessities needed for a long trip.
