Sheikh Safi al-Din Ardabili was one of the ancestors of the Iranian dynasty and the Safavid Shia religion, who was born in 650 AH. Sheikh Safi was known for his piety and purity, so that the opponents of the Safi family also knew him by this characteristic. Sheikh Safi al-Din Ardabili, the great ancestor of the Safavids; The eighth generation was the descendant of Firuz Shah Zarrinkolah. Firuz Shah was an Iranian and Kurdish native who had settled in the Moghan region. Sheikh Safi al-Din‘s mother tongue was Tati, and his Tati poems are available today. Tati was one of the Iranian languages ​​and the native language of Azerbaijan.

Sheikh Safi died in 735 AH and his tomb is near the monastery and his residence. The buildings of this complex are one of the most beautiful Islamic historical monuments in Iran in the Safavid era and is one of the most important ancient monuments in the country. This building was built in 735 AH by Sheikh Sadr al-Din Musa, son of Sheikh Safi, and has been respected by Safavid kings throughout time, especially during the Safavid rule.

This collection includes the following main sections; Tomb of Sheikh Safi (Gonbad Allah Allah), Tomb of Shah Ismail I, China House Mansion, Jannat Sara Mosque, Dar al-Hifaz Hall, Dar al-Hadith, main courtyard, martyrdom site, monastery or garden house and garden courtyard.

The dome of Allah Allah is a cylindrical structure that was built after the death of Sheikh Safi. The tomb is in the shape of a regular octagon from the inside, which is decorated with paintings of plants. In this part, there is an exquisite wooden tombstone, which is decorated with inlays and inscriptions of thirds and rak’ahs.
