Rivers are one of the important sights in the field of tourism, especially nature tourism, because you can experience various activities along and inside them. Some rivers are suitable for fun and relaxation, and some are suitable for adventure activities such as fishing and boating. For this reason, the existence of a river in any region can increase the tourist attractions of that region.

There are many rivers in “Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari” province, most of which eventually join an important river called the Bazoft. Bazoft river is the largest and longest river in “Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari“, which enters Khuzestan province after traveling a long way in this province and collecting a large part of surface water. The name of this river was changed after entering Khuzestan and it became known as Karun. The Bazoft river crosses the Khersan river just before Karun 4 Dam and is known as Karun from now on.

Bazoft is a beautiful river with a turquoise blue color that passes in a large part of its route, away from the eyes of urban people and through deep valleys. Valleys that are often out of reach or where nomads cross. In many places, metal cables called Jareh are used to cross this river. For this reason, visiting the Bazoft river for most of its route is only possible for climbers and nature lovers. One of the places where you can see the beautiful view of this river is in the direction of Landi waterfall, which passes with indescribable beauty through a wide valley with a view of the Zagros oak forests.
