Rivers are of great importance for the transfer of fresh water to industry, animal husbandry and agriculture, so that many ancient and modern civilizations have been formed and developed along these water resources. But these same rivers create a natural barrier to human passage, and human beings have always sought solutions to solve this problem.

One of the earliest human innovations was the construction of bridges over the river. Due to their nature, bridges have been of special importance for creating communication channels, and the names of some bridges have been gradually placed on one area.

Do-Polan is a village in Ardal city in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province. The name of this village is derived from two old bridges on the river close to the village, which today has become one of the promenades of this province.

These two bridges, one of which is old and unusable, have been built in the narrowest part of the river, which has high and beautiful walls. The height of the bridges is high above the water level of the river, and for this reason, one of the entertainments that is done on this bridge is the sport of bungee jumping.

At present, next to these bridges, a large area has been built for tourism activities and attracts many enthusiasts. Apart from these two old bridges, a new cable-stayed bridge has been built on the river, which, of course, has been built solely for the purpose of tourism activities. The space around Do-polan is mountainous and green and full of various trees, especially oak.
Do-polan is located approximately 105 km south of Shahrekord on the Izeh road. Access to this tourist area is possible by car and there is no need for a long walk.
