Snow and rain during the winter cause water to be stored in aquifers, and this water gradually comes out of the pores known as springs throughout the year. Some of these springs are small and have a small volume of water. But some also flow a large river on the ground.

The largest and most abundant springs in Iran can be seen in the Zagros region and especially in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province. Some of these springs are so watery that it is difficult to imagine its dimensions.
Cheshmeh Dimeh is a spring in Koohrang city of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, which is s large spring of this province and even Iran due to its abundant water volume. The water of this spring goes out of a large area and turns into a river full of water. This river is in fact one of the tributaries of the great and important Zayandeh-Rod River, which causes the development of a large area in “Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari” and Isfahan provinces.

Cheshmeh Dimeh is currently built in the form of a large recreational complex with facilities such as parking, bathroom and pavilion, and because of these facilities, many people are interested in visiting it.

The lush and tree-lined space around the Dimeh spring is another reason for the attractiveness of this tourist area. Numerous trees planted around the spring along with plants growing inside the canals have created a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation and photography.

Cheshmeh Dimeh is located about 85 km northwest of Shahrekord and can be reached by car. This region of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province has a cold climate and the best time to visit is from the middle of spring.
