Southern Iran and the beautiful Persian Gulf are famous for their pristine and beautiful beaches. Similar beaches can not be seen in northern Iran and the Caspian Sea because they are often occupied by individuals or state-owned companies or used as recreational complexes that are out of the natural and pristine form. But the shores of the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman remain untouched in many places and have preserved their beautiful scenery. In the meantime, the Iran islands are very popular with travel enthusiasts, especially nature lovers, due to their inaccessible beaches.

Hormoz Island is one of these islands in the middle of the Strait of Hormoz and is located in the Persian Gulf. The island has beautiful beaches, some of which have no land access and therefore are away from any hustle and bustle most days of the year.

Mofanaq Beach is one of these beaches which is located in the southwest of Hormoz Island and has no land access and can only be reached by sea and by boat. Of course, there are relatively difficult trails to reach this beach that are not suitable for some people.

Mofanaq beach is considered by nature lovers due to its flat and relatively large space that overlooks the deep sea and is widely used for long stays in tents.

Mofanaq beach is a rocky beach and the water depth at the point of contact of the rock with the sea is high and suitable for swimming. Of course, this can be dangerous for swimmers when the sea is stormy.

There are no amenities on Mofanaq beach and if you want to stay on this beach, it is necessary to have all the necessary equipment and supplies.
In order to reach this beach, it is necessary to make the necessary coordination with the boats of Hormoz wharf and reach this beach after about 5 km by boat. Recently, however, there are restrictions on entering this beach.
