West Azerbaijan is a beautiful province in the northwest and west of Iran, which attracts many tourists with its diverse tourist attractions. These sights include a wide range of attractions, among which cultural, ancient and natural can be seen. Snowy mountains, roaring rivers and beautiful lakes; Only a small part of the sights of this province are important.

Near the city of Sardasht, there is one of the most important natural monuments of West Azerbaijan province, which with its exemplary beauty, is one of the well-known attractions of this region. Shalmash is a waterfall that flows from a relatively long valley to its depth and creates a unique landscape.

Shalmash is a multi-stage waterfall, each of which has its own characteristics and charms. With a short walk you can reach the first waterfall and enjoy seeing it. But to visit other waterfalls, there is a relatively long walk ahead. This route is possible through built stairs that eventually lead downstream of the valley. Along this route, suitable places have been created to visit and photograph the waterfalls so that those who are interested can enjoy seeing the waterfalls with complete safety.

Finally, after the whole route, which lasts about half an hour, you can reach the last waterfall and see a beautiful view of it. The waterfall is located among tall and beautiful trees and provides a good space to relax and use this nature.

It is possible to visit Shalmash waterfall in all seasons, but the best time to visit this area is mid-spring, when the lush and flower-filled nature of these areas is beautiful.

Next to Shalmash waterfall, limited amenities are available and can be used if desired.
