Water springs are one of the beautiful signs of nature that create plant and animal life around them. Many ancient civilizations and villages have been created due to the existence of water springs, and any change in these water resources can quickly have important effects on these communities.

Springs are not a tourist attraction. But sometimes some of them become important and noticed for some reason. For example, some springs are famous for their greatness and abundant water volume. Among the Zagros mountains, especially the provinces of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari and Lorestan, such springs with a significant volume of water are abundant. The largest water springs in Iran can be seen in these provinces, Koohrang spring is one of them.

Koohrang spring has a large volume of water and comes out of the heart of the mountain from a point like a big river and causes prosperity and development along its route.
