Abu-Zidabad Desert, sometimes known as “Siazegeh Desert“, is one of the beautiful deserts, which is located in the east and southeast of Abu-Zidabad city in Isfahan provenience. This desert, with its sand dunes has become an attractive destination for tourism activities and has been included in the weekly program of many travel agencies and nature groups.

Abu-Zidabad is located 30 km southeast of Kashan. The route is a road that goes to the heart of the desert and you can get off the car in a suitable place and enjoy seeing and walking among the sands. You do not need to go far to see the desert. You enter the desert from the beginning of the road.

The best season to visit the desert is autumn and winter because in spring and summer the temperature inside the desert is high and annoying. In addition to the hot weather, dangerous insects and animals such as snakes and scorpions are active during these seasons and may pose a danger to visitors. So it is better to choose autumn and winter to visit these areas to enjoy the desert with more peace of mind. Do not forget that animals such as snakes and scorpions live under the sand, and in hot seasons, no matter how careful you are, you may come into contact with them unconsciously.

To visit Abu-zidabad desert from Tehran, it takes about 4 hours to reach the beginning of the desert. These days, with the introduction of Abu-zidabad desert as a tourist destination, suitable accommodation facilities have been built in Abu-zidabad and the surrounding villages, and if you want to spend the night in this area, you can use these accommodations. In this case, you can see and enjoy other sights near this desert.

Matin Abad Desert, Karshahi Castle, Noshabad Underground City, historical houses inside Kashan city and many other sights can be visited in a 2-day trip with Abuzidabad Desert.
