Bushehr province is one of the beautiful provinces of Iran, which is famous for its pristine beaches on the Persian Gulf. In addition to these beaches, other attractions such as large groves, salt domes and clots are other attractions of this province.

But the existence of several pristine islands in this province is another feature. Islands that are still unknown and no one knows about them except a few interested tourists. These islands are located in the Mond region in the middle of the road from Kangan to Bushehr. The best place to enter these islands is the city of Bordekhon, which is the closest distance from the islands.

One of these islands is known as Tahmadon, which is a relatively large island with a length of about 12 km. The island is uninhabited and no one enters it except a few fishermen and nature lovers.

Tahmadon is a vast island, a significant part of which is affected by sea tides and is covered by water. For this reason, it is not possible to visit all of it. Only parts of the island that have a sandy beach are suitable for sightseeing.

Tahmadon Island is under the supervision of the Environment Organization and it is not possible to visit it without coordination and obtaining permission from this organization. The reason for this is the rich wildlife of the island and the need to protect it. In the corners of the island you can see groups of seabirds that are resting or feeding without worries. These birds are mostly migratory and are guests of this tropical region in the cold seasons of the year.

The island’s vegetation consists of small shrubs without tall trees that grow along the island and near sandy beaches. Most of the island that is in contact with the salt water of the sea is without significant vegetation.
Tahmadon Island is not far from the coast and can be reached in less than half an hour.
