Valasht is a lake located southwest of Chalous on the way from this city to Marzanabad. The distance of this lake from Marzanabad is about 25 km, which is a significant part of this distance is a dirt road and unsuitable, which of course can be crossed by almost any type of vehicle.

Valasht Lake is one of the freshwater lakes in Iran, which is the result of rain and springs at the bottom of the lake. The lake is located inside the valley and in a space similar to a large bowl. The dimensions of the lake are about 600 meters long and 400 meters wide and about 20 meters deep. The area around the lake is relatively without trees, and reeds have grown in a small area. However, in the distance and in the heights, a beautiful forest landscape can be seen.

Brief amenities such as shops as well as pleasure boats have been built along the lake. But there is no suitable place for fun and sitting, and on sunny days, being by the lake is a little annoying. There are fish inside the lake, so one of the pastimes by the lake can be fishing.

Valasht Lake is surrounded by mountains and has a different image. Photographing and capturing images of this natural and national masterpiece is one of the pleasures of this trip. Walking along the lake and enjoying its different atmosphere can create memorable memories.
Visiting the lake using the signposts along the way is not difficult. The lake can be reached by car. The space around the lake is not large for accommodation and can be annoying on crowded holidays.
Swimming in the lake can be dangerous due to the deep water. For this reason, it is recommended that you take the necessary precautions if you want to swim.
