Caving is one of the branches of nature tourism and because of its charm and excitement, it has many fans in Iran. The existence of numerous and diverse caves in Iran has created the ground for the flourishing of this field and now this activity is done professionally and extensively. There are many caves that can be visited by people with a little caution and you can enjoy being in them.

Gol-e Zard Cave (Yellow Flower Cave) is one of the semi-professional caves in Mazandaran province, many parts of which can be explored without using professional caving tools. This cave is located in Plur area. The road leading to Gol-e Zard branches off from Haraz Road and is about 4 km long. This road starts from Manzarieh Highway and continues to near the cave and then you can reach the cave with a short walk. Of course, this road has been blocked since the beginning of autumn due to snowfall, and if you want to visit the whole route, which takes about 2 hours, you have to walk.

The entrance of the cave is very narrow, at the beginning of which the chest should be raised and then a few meters should be walked sitting. The inner path of the Gol-e Zard Cave is clear and there is no possibility of getting lost in it. Of course, this is not a reason to enter this cave without a professional guide, and all necessary precautions must be taken.

The Gol-e Zard Cave is very beautiful with larg and small ponds and small underground river. To enter the Gol-e Zard Cave and all natural caves, it is necessary to use a helmet and a headlight. It is also better to use a special suit to enter the cave and wash it separately after finishing the cave.
For caving, especially caves that have a muddy space, it is recommended to use boots instead of ordinary shoes to reduce the possibility of contamination of the body.

Note that the Gol-e Zard is a natural cave and no changes have been made to it. The route has not been modified for the public and there are no lights on it. For this reason, only people with proper physical fitness and some equipment can visit it.
